House Bill 262
Enact Child Access Prevention Tax Credit Act
To amend sections 5747.08 and 5747.98 and to enact sections 2923.191 and 5747.72 of the Revised Code to enact the Child Access Prevention Tax Credit Act to prohibit negligent storage of a firearm, to provide criminal penalties if a minor gains access to an improperly stored firearm, and to authorize an income tax credit for the purchase of firearms safety storage units.
