Increase penalties-certain criminal offenses; peace officer suits

To amend sections 2909.05, 2917.02, 2917.03, 2917.11, 2923.31, and 2929.14 and to enact sections 2307.701, 2903.131, 2917.06, and 2927.121 of the Revised Code to increase penalties for certain assault, vandalism, and riot offenses, to allow peace officers to bring civil suits against persons participating in a riot, and to prohibit bias motivated intimidation of first responders.
