House Bill 672
Consider COVID-19 effects-eligibility for unemployment benefits
To amend section 4141.29 and to enact section 4141.294 of the Revised Code to enact the "Worker Protection Act" to require the Director of Job and Family Services to consider certain factors related to COVID-19 when determining, for purposes of unemployment benefit eligibility, whether an individual had just cause to quit work or refuse employment and to declare an emergency.
