House Bill 432
License student loan servicers and create ombudsperson
To enact sections 1323.01, 1323.02, 1323.03, 1323.04, 1323.05, 1323.06, 1323.07, 1323.08, 1323.09, 1323.10, 1323.11, 1323.12, 1323.13, 1323.14, 1323.15, 1323.16, 1323.17, and 1323.99 of the Revised Code to require student loan servicers to be licensed by the Division of Financial Institutions and to create the position of student loan ombudsperson in the Division of Financial Institutions to provide assistance to student loan borrowers.
