House Bill 292
Presumes that certain cancers in firefighters are duty related
To amend sections 124.42, 505.374, 505.375, 505.38, 709.012, 737.08, 737.22, 742.38, 4123.57, 4123.68, and 4766.09 of the Revised Code to provide that a firefighter who is disabled as a result of specified types of cancer is presumed for purposes of the laws governing workers' compensation and the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund to have incurred the cancer while performing official duties as a firefighter.
