Senate Bill 257
Presumes recorded real estate instruments valid
To amend sections 5301.07, 5709.40, 5709.73, 5709.77, 5709.78, and 5709.911 of the Revised Code to create a presumption of validity for recorded real property instruments, to reduce the time period for curing certain defects related to those instruments, and to provide constructive notice for those instruments, and to establish a procedure by which political subdivisions proposing a tax increment financing (TIF) incentive district must notify affected property owners and permit them to exclude their property.
